LED is a displays type in which source of light is ‘Light emitting diodes’ and LEDs are placed closely on circuit board to each other to produce vibrant display colours.
LED provide more flexibility in display to electronic devices manufacturers as compared to LCD. LED stands for “Light Emitting Diodes”.
LCD is a display type whereby light is emitted through reflector or backlight to display content on screen. LCD uses Light modulating display properties of liquid crystal combined with polarizers for display. Unlike LED, LCD do not emit light directly. LCD stands for “Liquid Crystal Display”.
