Right To Information (RTI) is an very effective tool for Indian citizens to get information from Public Offices.In order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of public authority under Right to information Act,2005 Indian citizens are given Right to get Information.

Following process can be followed for filling RTI:

 

1.Write a application specifying the information required under RTI (below given a sample format)

2.submit application with evidence of payment of application fee.

3.Send the Application to concerned Public information officer (PIO) or Assistant PIO

Note :- 

  • Applicant Must be a Citizen of India
  • Applicant should give his address for giving reply
  • No other personal details other than for contact purpose need to be specified and PIO can not ask for other personal information
